AUDIT & ASSURANCE MANAGER
Job Summary

Principal Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the process of audits.
- Plans and schedules audit programs.
- Review and assess completion of audits.
- Maintaining time records.
- Coordinate with clients about auditing practices.
- Ensure completion of audits on time.
- Train and mentor audit assistants and other audit staff.
- Analyse financial data, records, reports and statements.
- Coordinate with the management to take necessary action on audit findings.
- Developing recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to senior management.
- Planning and allocating resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules.
- Plans, supervises and partakes actively in the annual stock-taking exercise and cash-counting process as scheduled with the client.
- Making recommendations on policies.
- Ensuring that the organisation/firm fulfils international and governmental obligations of compliance.
- Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the Resident or Engagement partner, other partners or the firm.
- Maintain professionalism within the ambience of ethics and quality control principles as enshrined in the firm's Quality Managment Manual and accounting manual
Competency and Skills Required
- Good knowledge of the basic elements of standard financial statements.
- Knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, concepts and conventions.
- Knowledge of all relevant laws and standards guiding the accounting/audit professions.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Supervising and conducting independent audits.
- Having Extraordinary organisational skills.
- Possess the ability and passion to solve a problem.
- Drafting recommendations on corrective measures.
- Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.

Minimum Education and work experience
- First degree in numerate sciences, especially in accounting or economics.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA/FCA, CISA.
- Adequate skills and experience.
- 6+ years of experience working in an auditor position.
AUDIT & ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR
Job Summary
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organised, outgoing, creative professional with good communication/presentation skills, and a professional in attitude and conduct, high level of integrity, high sense of responsibility and adaptability, a presentable and professional dress sense with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Principal Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Oversee audit planning, field work, and audit reporting; prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
- Function as in-charge or assistant accountant, depending on the size and complexity of the audit engagement.
- Coordinate team activities to ensure that review objectives are achieved and the review is conducted in accordance with company standards.
- Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff, and responsible for the development of audit staff and the completion of performance evaluations.
- Ensure that reviews are completed in compliance with the relevant Auditing standards.
- Train/mentor staff assigned to the team.
- Prepare performance reviews at completion of reviews.
- Ensure that all work papers supporting the review are clear and concise.
- Develop appropriate solutions to enhance and integrate with other Financial, Operational, and Information Technology audits.
- Present findings and recommendations to all levels of management.
- Assists in managing budgeted hours.
- Participate actively in the annual stock-taking exercise and cash-counting process as scheduled with the client.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the engagement manager or engagement partner.
Competency and Skills Required
- Knowledge of all relevant laws guiding the accounting/audit professions.
- Good communication/presentation skills.
- Must be able to view control issues and concerns from the perspective of the Audit Committee and Senior Management.

- Analyse risks and develop measures to reduce them.
- Function as in-charge or assistant accountant, depending on the size and complexity of the audit engagement.
- Manage the auditor team٫ allocating responsibilities and reviewing the team's performance.
- Ensuring the timely completion of audits.
- Managing periodical audits.
- Preparing reports for the auditing manager.
- Optimising the audit process to increase compliance and efficiency.
- Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors.
- Carry out instructions and directives of his supervisor/manager within the firm.
- Maintain professionalism within the ambience of ethics and quality control principles as enshrined in the firm's Quality Managment Manual and accounting manual.
- Participate actively in the annual stock-taking exercise and cash-counting process as scheduled with the client.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the engagement manager/team lead or resident partner.

- Familiarity with the firm’s audit tools.
